What is oral care?


Oral care involves the basic dental care for human being.Basic dental care should be done regularly and with responsibility.Doctors laid great emphasis on basic dental care.

Basic dental care involves the brushing of teeth regularly.Also, Flossing your teeth after a meal(recommended for grown up people).For an updated dental care you should meet your dentist once in a month for regular check-ups and cleaning of your teeth.Eating an mouth health diet is very important for dental care which includes fruits, vegetables, dairy products and whole grains.

Advantages of dental care:

Prevents tooth decay.

Prevents gum bleeding, diseases which damage your gum tissues and bones.

Prevents smelly breathing.

Keeps teeth white by preventing and removing strains of food, drinks and tobbacco smoking.

Keeps good health.

Makes chances for the teeth to remain for a long period of time.




For a good oral hygiene, do the following:

Brush your teeth twice a day with an flouride toothpaste.

Avoid foods that contain much sugar.Sugar grows plaque in teeth.

Floss your teeth everyday after a meal.

Eat a balanced diet.

Avoid tobbacco use, which can produce gum diseases as well as oral cancer.

Clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner Specially for smokers.

Visit your dentist regularly once in a month for checkups.

Change your tooth brush every two or three months.


Avoiding all these would make your teeth weak.Weak teeth are very likely to be affected by the diseases.Making the teeth unable to peform its action and affecting a daily life style.
